The Transformation to a Modern Community
Baldwin Park began in 1940 as the Orlando Army Air Base, later transitioning into a Naval Training Center that served the area until 1993. By 1999, Orlando set out to reimagine the former base as a walkable, mixed-use community. Today, Baldwin Park is celebrated for its thoughtful blend of homes, shops, parks, and lakes, seamlessly blending urban convenience with natural beauty.
Designed for Living
At the heart of Baldwin Park lies the Baldwin Park Village Center, a vibrant downtown built with small-block, pedestrian-friendly design. With retail shops, cafés, restaurants, offices, and essential services all within steps of Enders Place, it’s a destination where neighbors turn into friends, errands evolve into relaxing strolls, and long commutes are traded for community ties.
Defined By Ease
Streets are lined with shady trees, inviting sidewalks, and bike lanes that connect every corner, making driving optional for many residents. Anchored by scenic Lake Baldwin, Baldwin Park invites residents outdoors with walking trails, waterfront views, and ample green space.
